Workshop “Introduction to Good Scientific Practice”
The course imparts knowledge about
- the principles and rules of Good Scientific Practice (GSP)
- the most important forms of scientific misconduct
- the relevant regulations and the support and complaints structures.
Participants will gain the ability to apply this knowledge in their own research context, i.e. to conduct research responsibly and ethically. Participants will also gain awareness of conflicts related to research misconduct and normative aspects of research in general. Case studies will be analyzed and discussed and tasks assigned for group work.
